Stomp Fitness

Target - Is it for me?

In order to attend Stomp Fitness sessions:

  1. You must be physically able to move from a lying position on the floor to a standing position without assistance.
  2. You must have normal, pain–free range of motion in your shoulders, hips, knees, low back, etc. (i.e. able to perform a squat, lunge, or lift a weight overhead without pain).
  3. You must be free of cardiovascular disease of any form or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
  4. You need to be able to remain standing and/or doing activity for a minimum of 45 minutes.
  5. You must be willing to incorporate healthy eating habits if you truly want to see your best results.
  6. You must be willing and motivated to work hard and push yourself.
  7. You must be over 16 years of age
  8. You must consider a fresh–air training environment the thing for you.
  9. You must rate functional strength, toughness, and agility high on your fitness agenda.

If you answered 'Yes Sir!' to the nine points above, then Stomp Fitness is just for YOU!

PLEASE NOTE:

Participants will never be asked to perform more than they are capable of doing, but are pushed to give one hundred percent effort at all times. Stomp Fitness sessions are not designed for members to compete against one another; they simply provide incentive and encouragement for each person to compete to his or her personal best. In every group there will inevitably be a range of fitness levels and exercise abilities so our qualified Stomp Fitness trainers will adapt the exercise accordingly to allow each member to maximize their own personal effort no matter how fit or unfit they are.

Gear to bring

Please bring your own good, supportive sports shoes, a full water bottle, large towel or yoga mat (for ground work), and comfortable exercise clothes. (Note: In wet weather, we are happy for you to wear whatever wet weather gear you please. But don't be afraid to get wet – you won't dissolve.)
