Soooo my story, 2011 – turned 40, decided time to get life back on track! Tried on my own to lose the weight and get my fitness back, I struggled – one step forward one step back. But the last 3 months were transformative for me – I joined the 12 week challenge, took a while to find my feet, did my first STOMP boot camp series, I nearly died! Honestly I never thought I would survive but through gentle firm encouragement and advice from Halle, I got through. I then signed up for another 6 weeks! Yeh baby! I survived that – more tough love from Halle. I am down from size 16 to size 12, my blood pressure is back to normal, I walked the Kerikeri half marathon, I am walking 8-10km just for fun – started RUNNING! Never thought I’d do that (okay its only 3km, but hey!)and swimming 2km no problem. I am calmer, happier and healthier and looking forward to the next 40 years ;)

"Halle is an great trainer. She works out your limits at the start, then constantly pushes you beyond them.

Its fun to train in a group, as everyone has different strengths. I especially love the sessions where we work in teams against each other. It brings out the competitor in me and makes me work harder.

Definitely recommend that you give STOMP Fitness a try.

It's Friday now and I'm still sore from Tuesday! I love how you can work at your own pace but there is always the opportunity to push yourself to the limit. Halle you are amazing! So supportive but tough at the same time. I'm looking forward to the new session times so I will be able to come more often.

One-2-One Stomp Fitness sessions are physically hard, and they need to be so you get desired results. No one session is like the other with great variety, plus Halle is a knowledgeable instructor who engages and pushes you along. I thoroughly recommend these group sessions and found them value for money.

I don't 'do' exercise, or I didn't for the past 40 years.  Then Halle got me, now I go to stretch classes & Stomp Fitness classes.  I grumble & think I will never catch my breath, or that I won't be able to walk tomorrow.... But i have such a good time!!!!  I've met lots of new people & laughed & moaned in good company.  And, surprise surprise, I've started to get fitter in a short time and now I sleep better as well.

At 60 there are a few bits on the body that need extra care and attention. Stomp Fitness sessions with Halle keeps everything in working order. She is really great at quickly adapting and adjusting the activities to suit your body. Feeling fitter means you can really enjoy the bike trail, the tramp , the walk , the ski and especially relish leaving the younger ones puffing and sweating behind!

I have so enjoyed my sessions with Stomp Fitness. I’m now on my third season and have been receiving compliments from loads of people about the weight I’ve lost, and just general comments about my well being. I now have energy – where previously I didn’t. My complexion has improved. My mental state has improved. My wobbly bits are disappearing. Even though I moan and groan at during each workout and wondering what was I thinking, afterwards I feel alive with energy, good about the past hour, and looking forward to the next workout. It’s been hard, and with a great bunch of people, it’s been encouraging. And Halle, yes she is a drill sergeant, is fantastic. She pushes you to do more than you think you can, and the result - Awesome. So thanks again Stomp for reshaping a new me!
